Terms and Conditions
Effective date: October 3, 2026
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of AD on Live — the website at www.adonlive.com, streamer booking pages, overlays and the AD on Live desktop app (the "Service") — operated by DevTeam Co., Ltd., Republic of Korea ("we", "us"). By creating a channel, booking an ad or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. What AD on Live is
AD on Live is a marketplace that lets live streamers ("Streamers") offer time-based sponsor banner slots on their stream overlay, and lets anyone ("Advertisers") book those slots. Each booking is an agreement between the Advertiser and the Streamer to show the Advertiser's banner; we provide the booking pages, overlay technology, payment handling through PayPal and payouts. We do not produce or endorse ads and we do not control streams.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and able to enter a binding contract.
- Streamers must give accurate information, keep their password and overlay URL confidential, and are responsible for activity on their account.
- You may delete your account at any time from the dashboard. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or put users or the Service at risk.
3. How bookings work
- The Streamer sets the price per minute and banner size. The total shown at checkout (price × minutes, in US dollars) is what the Advertiser pays.
- At checkout PayPal authorizes (holds) the payment. The payment is captured only when the Streamer approves the ad, either manually or through auto-approve while on air.
- If the Streamer rejects the ad, or does not approve it within 3 days, the authorization is voided and the Advertiser is not charged.
- Approved ads are shown on the Streamer's overlay right away or after the ads already queued, for the number of minutes purchased. The overlay labels each paid banner as an ad.
- Ad performance is reported as the number of scans and clicks on the ad's tracking link. We do not guarantee any number of viewers, impressions, clicks or sales.
4. Advertiser responsibilities and ad content rules
Advertisers are responsible for their banners and destination pages and confirm they have all rights needed to use them. Ads and destination pages must be lawful, truthful and safe, and must not include:
- illegal products or services, counterfeit goods, weapons, drugs, tobacco or vaping products;
- adult or sexually explicit content, or content that sexualizes minors;
- gambling, betting or casino offers where they are not permitted, and any unlicensed gambling;
- hateful, harassing, violent or discriminatory content;
- misleading claims, "get rich quick" schemes, deceptive financial or crypto offers;
- malware, phishing, or pages that collect data without consent;
- anything that infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy.
Advertisers grant the Streamer and us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, resize and crop the banner, and to show it in recordings and clips of the stream, for the purpose of running the booked ad.
5. Streamer responsibilities
- Review ads and reject any that you do not want on your stream or that break these Terms or your platform's rules.
- Follow the rules of every platform you stream on and all advertising and disclosure laws that apply to you — for example, clearly identifying sponsored content to viewers. Some platforms restrict third-party advertising; you are responsible for deciding whether and how to use the Service on each platform.
- Approve ads only when your overlay is on air, keep the overlay visible for the purchased time, and do not obscure or alter approved banners.
- Do not book ads on your own channel, use fake bookings or traffic, or misrepresent your audience.
6. Fees, payouts and taxes
- For each captured ad we keep a platform fee of 20% of the ad price; the Streamer receives the rest. Founding partners (the first 100 Streamers) pay 10% for 12 months from sign-up. Fees may change with 30 days' notice, and changes do not affect ads already booked.
- Payouts are made weekly via PayPal to the email the Streamer provides (cut-off Friday 23:59 KST, paid by Sunday 23:59 KST, subject to PayPal processing). Earnings are paid for ads that have finished running. We may hold payouts while we investigate suspected fraud, chargebacks or a breach of these Terms.
- Streamers are responsible for their own taxes on earnings.
7. Refunds and disputes
An Advertiser is never charged for an ad that is rejected or not approved. If an approved ad did not appear for the purchased time because of a problem with the Service, contact us within 14 days with the booking reference; we will review it and, where appropriate, offer a refund or a replacement slot. Payment disputes raised with PayPal are handled under PayPal's procedures, and we may recover from a Streamer's future earnings amounts that are reversed through a chargeback.
8. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Service: no attempts to break or probe security, scrape it at scale, interfere with other users, send spam, or use it for anything unlawful. The overlay URL and desktop app may only be used with your own channel.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design and brand, belongs to DevTeam Co., Ltd. You keep ownership of the content you provide and grant us the rights needed to operate the Service.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, and we do not warrant that the Service, streams or overlays will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any ad will produce particular results.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or revenue. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the fees we received from you, or the amounts we paid to you, in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Indemnity
You agree to compensate us for claims and costs arising from your ads, your streams, your content or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.
13. Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may change the Service or these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date and, for account holders, announced by email at least 14 days in advance. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts of the Republic of Korea, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
