Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 3, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how DevTeam Co., Ltd. ("we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you use AD on Live — the website at www.adonlive.com, the streamer overlay, the booking pages and the AD on Live desktop app (together, the "Service").
1. Who we are
DevTeam Co., Ltd., 509-J492, 5F, 81, Convensia-daero, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, Republic of Korea (business registration 433-88-03388) is responsible for the personal information described here. You can reach us through the contact form or at [email protected]. Our personal information protection officer is Daniel Ahn.
2. Information we collect
Streamers (account holders)
- Email address and password (stored only as a one-way hash).
- Channel details you provide: channel name, display name, description, profile and header images, price per minute, banner size and stream schedule.
- Payout details: the PayPal email address you give us for payouts, and the payout records we create.
- Technical data about your overlay and desktop app: the time your overlay last connected (so we can show whether you are on air), sign-in tokens for the desktop app, and the IP address and device details of your requests.
Advertisers (no account needed)
- Your email address, the destination URL you enter, the banner image you upload and the booking details (channel, minutes, amount).
- Payment information from PayPal: order and authorization identifiers, amounts and payment status. Payments are processed by PayPal; we never receive or store your card number or PayPal password.
Viewers who scan an ad's QR code
- When someone opens an ad's short link, we record the time, IP address, browser user agent and referring page so we can count scans for the advertiser, and then redirect them to the advertiser's site.
Website visitors
- Basic usage logs: pages visited, referring page, browser and device type, approximate country (provided by our content delivery network), IP address and a session identifier.
- Messages you send through the contact form (name, email, topic and message). The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated spam.
3. How we use information
- To provide the Service: show booking pages and overlays, process bookings, record PayPal authorizations, captures and voids, and run approved ads.
- To send service emails: verification codes, booking receipts, approval, rejection and completion notices, and new-request alerts for streamers.
- To pay streamers and keep accounting records.
- To keep the Service secure: prevent fraud and abuse, rate-limit sign-in attempts and investigate problems.
- To understand and improve the Service using aggregated usage statistics.
- To comply with legal obligations, such as tax, accounting and e-commerce record-keeping.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising or profiling.
4. Legal bases
Where data-protection laws such as the GDPR apply, we rely on: performance of a contract (providing the Service you sign up for or book); our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, counting ad scans, improving the Service); compliance with legal obligations; and your consent where it is required.
5. Who we share information with
We share personal information only with service providers that process it on our behalf, under contract, and only as needed to run the Service:
- PayPal — payment processing for advertisers and payouts to streamers.
- Amazon Web Services — application hosting and email delivery (Amazon SES), in the United States.
- Cloudflare — content delivery, security, bot protection (Turnstile) and storage for desktop app downloads.
Some information is shared between users as part of how the Service works: advertisers see a streamer's public channel details on the booking page, and streamers see the advertiser's email address, banner and destination URL so they can review an ad. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.
6. International transfers
We are based in the Republic of Korea and our servers and service providers are located in the United States and other countries. When information is transferred across borders, we take steps to protect it in line with this policy and applicable law.
7. How long we keep information
- Account information: until you delete your account. Deletion is immediate and self-service from your dashboard (Profile & account → Delete account).
- Booking, payment and payout records: kept for accounting and legal purposes — generally up to five years, as required by applicable e-commerce and tax laws — even after an account is deleted, but no longer linked to the deleted streamer's personal details.
- Website usage logs: 90 days.
- Contact-form messages: as long as needed to answer you, and no longer than three years.
8. Cookies
We use only cookies that are necessary for the Service: a session cookie and a security (CSRF) token that keep you signed in and protect forms. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set a cookie needed for security and bot protection.
9. The desktop app
The AD on Live desktop app connects only to the adonlive.com API. It stores your sign-in token on your device, encrypted with your operating system's secure storage, and contains no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. Signing out removes the token from the device.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Streamers can update most information in the dashboard and delete their account at any time. For anything else — including requests from advertisers and viewers — contact us and we will respond within the time required by law. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
11. Security
We protect personal information with encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and the authorities of a breach where required by law.
12. Children
The Service is not directed to children. Streamer accounts and bookings are for people who are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where they live). If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Changes
We may update this policy as the Service changes. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date and, for material changes, notify account holders by email.
